Chilgoza trees are available in North West Himalayas, Afghanistan, Europe etc. The shell is a dark brown cylindrical shaped, pointed at the tip that can be easily broken. They can be eaten raw as well as roasted. They contain the highest amount of proteins, found in any nut.
